Canadian Experience Class

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is an immigration program that allows individuals who have worked in Canada for at least one year to immigrate permanently.

To be eligible to apply, you must:

• Have experience under skill level O (Managerial jobs) or skill level A (Professional jobs) or skill level B (Technical jobs and skilled trades)

• Have at least 1 year of full-time or part time skilled work experience in Canada

• Apply within 3 years of obtaining your skilled work experience

• Have had legal status while working in Canada

• Meet minimum language levels in English or French

Education requirement

There is no education requirement for the Canadian Experience Class. But, if you want to improve your score in express entry, then there are following ways:

• You went to secondary or post-secondary school in Canada OR

• You have foreign education
