Federal Skilled Worker Program
FSW is for skilled workers with foreign experience who want to come to Canada permanently. This program allows the country to welcome thousands of newcomers every year based their work experience, education etc.
How to qualify for FSW
In order to meet eligibility criteria you should have atleast 67 points. You can get these points from the following:

Your education

Language score
-
Your work experience
-
Your age
-
If you have arranged employment in Canada; and

Your adaptability
Eligibility criteria for Work Experience:

Same type of job or have same NOC code

Work experience with in the last 10 years and should be paid ( volunteer or unpaid experience do not count)

Minimum 1 year of continuous work experience or 1,560 hours total (30 hours per week). You can meet this in a different ways:

Full time at 1 job this is 30 hours per week for 12 months (1,560 hours in a year)

Equal amount in part-time that is 15 hours per week for 24 months (1,560 hours in two years)

Full time work at more than one job means 30 hours per week for 12 months (1,560 hours in a year)
For part time you can work more or less than 15 hours per week until you cover up 1,560 hours
